    23 Apr 2025 – LRS Special Meeting: The Future of our Amateur Radio Hobby by Chris Tran GM3WOJ

    For this special meeting, our good friend Chris Tran GM3WOJ will be coming from his home near Invergordon. Chris is well-known as a very successful contester, DXpeditioner and contributor to RSGB RadCom magazine and as the host of the GM3WOJ 10GHz personal beacon built by LRS member Dr Brian Flynn GM8BJF.     LRS members are invited to this IET talk at the Napier University Craiglockhart Campus.

  • The LRS usually operates GM3HAM/P from a great site near Gatehouse of Fleet in Dumfries & Galloway.

    3-4 May 2025 – May VHF/UHF Contest – Nobody interested in operating from Gatehouse of Fleet. Norman MM0BMG may operate 432MHz on the Sunday from Lauder Common.

    5-6 July 2025 – VHF NFD – LRS will enter, organized by Pete GM4BYF & Colin GM4HWO.

    6-7 Sept 2025 – 2m Trophy – undecided at present.
