A number of LRS members attended the Norbreck (Blackpool) Rally. They travelled down the previous day and enjoyed an Indian dinner that evening, organized by Norrie GM1CNH, who reports they had an excellent curry.
Notes by Colin GM4HWO about the Rally. Also tnx for his photos below.:
- Good to see progress towards a normal rally
- Attendance was down
- Less Scottish HAMs than normal
- Precautions taken against covid , less tables, wider spaced out
- Main Players did not attend i.e ICOM KENWOOD YAESU were not there
- Fewer stands
- Still a very enjoyable 2 days.
Norrie GM1CNH notes: Good variation of equipment and surplus.
