A WSPR beacon was donated to and installed at the premises of La Liga de Radioaficionados de Bogota (LRB) in Colombia during December 2024. It has been providing a reliable indication of propagation from South America since then. The beacon call sign is HK3LRB and operates on the following bands: 40 m, 30 m, 20 m, 17 m, 15 m, 12 m, 10 m. A mini Dxpedition to Colombia is now being planned for the autumn of this year by the Edinburgh and District Amateur Radio Club (EDARC).
