Unusually, an Aurora occurred during a contest. Brian GM4DIJ/P nr Stranraer worked Malcolm GM3TAL (Dunfermline) and Bruce GM4BDJ (Langholm) on AU-phone on 50MHz and recorded their signals. The right place at the right time! Conditions were very flat, so the Auroral contacts cheered up his score somewhat. No visual as it was still quite light.
