25 May 2022 – LRS D/F Hunt 2022 – GM3HAM/P

Once again, Peter Dick GM4DTH was the Fox station for the 2022 LRS D/F Hunt. Starting at the “Tardis” in Braid Hills Road, the following participants attempted to find GM3HAM/P on 1875kHz.:

James GM4WZP + passenger Alan GM3PSP, Melvyn GM4HYR, Andy MM7MOX, Mike GM8KCS + Mike Jr MM3MDB.

The first to find the Fox was Melvyn GM4HYR (again)!

It’s time! But nothing heard! Fox Peter phoned to say that his ATU had a problem with only a weak signal being transmitted. He advised moving north for a better signal.

James was using the Rx belonging to Colin GM4HWO.

A beautiful double rainbow was seen to the east.

Eventually the Fox was found with difficulty in woods at Roseburn, first by Melvyn GM4HYR. The others needed some help!
