Alan Masson G3PSP lived for 20 years in the USA while working for Kodak, latterly in Rochester NY. Rochester is a very active centre for Amateur Radio with a number of clubs. Alan described his experiences at the Rochester DX Association, the Rochester Amateur Radio Association, the Rochester VHF Group, ARRL Field Day, the Rochester Hamfest, and the Antique Wireless Association. While working in Hollywood CA he sat all the exams and 5 wpm morse test in one day and gained his US “vanity” callsign K6PSP.
