ACTIVITIES: bus tour – included only three LRS members.

LRS took part in N.F.D 1957 on June 1st & 2nd at Loanhead via GM5HL.

LRS operated 7, 14 and 28 mc

Edinburgh club operated 1.8, 3.5 & 21 mc by agreement.

Hugh Lawson GM5HL indicated that due to the lack of enthusiasm he considered the 1957 NFD event would be the last at Loanhead.

A club library is mentioned for the first time in the accounts.

Application made to GPO for Special Exhibition Licence.
